Why women in perimenopause and menopause
Moving into midlife is hard enough without having to deal with the issues that menopause can throw at you. When I started going through perimenopause I was struggling with lack of sleep, ridiculous hot flashes and belly fat that seemed like it was here to stay.
I researched how to reduce these symptoms and went down the road of trying various diets moving from low carb, to keto and eventially to intermittent fasting.
By the time I hit menopause I’d stopped the hot flashes, lost my belly fat and sleep a lot better now than I ever did.
