We love to plan what low carb Christmas recipes we are going to prepare for Christmas day. Everyone has their input and usually, everyone’s needs are met.
The rules are it needs to be quick and simple to prepare but something we wouldn’t usually have.
I find preparing low-carb Christmas recipes that don’t include sugar or grains so much easier than manipulating sugar and flour into dishes that take time and leave you feeling stuffed and uncomfortable.
It is nice to think you have not missed out on the Christmas treats but are still able to lift yourself off the couch easily.

I hope these recipes leave you inspired to give low carb cooking a go this year.
Let’s start at the very beginning, that ever so important meal of the day.
The Novice Chef has this covered for us with these deliciously fluffy low carb pancakes. Maybe try some sugar-free syrup on these to take them from pancakes to heaven on a plate. Don’t forget the big dollop of butter!
Mid-morning treat with coffee
With breakfast finished it is time to sit down for a coffee and this is when we open the presents.
Time for a wee break for everyone and perhaps a catch-up with the rellies overseas. Then it is on to lunch and this one starts with something fabulous.
Who could resist these as a treat on this one day of the year where we should be able to have something a little more special. These are low carb though.
