Bad self-esteem is that gothic mistress with black khol eyes who treats everything and everyone with suspicion and distaste.
She wants you to be perfect, to judge yourself as not good enough, to think the worst and when the worst happens she tells you to give up.
Here are some tips for kicking that black-eyed daughter of negativity to the curb.
By living in the moment you can live your life without worrying about what has happened in the past and unaffected by your hopes and dreams for the future.
When judgement ceases to exist we can simply accept what is, without any negative attachments.
Without expectations, you can trust and accept.
To help you achieve these three things:
There is nothing you can do to change it now. I tell myself that each day, even each moment is a new chance to do start again do better.
Give yourself something to look forward to.
A movie. A coffee out with friends. Whatever works for you.
You will feel more energetic, endorphins will help your mood and you can lose weight and tone as well.
It really does work. You may find it difficult at first but stick with it.
You don’t know their background or what goes on behind closed doors. What you see on the surface is what they want you to see. Have you heard that old saying that if everyone put their problems into a bowl most would take their own back out again?
Give yourself some time to get used to doing these things. Be gentle with yourself. One small improvement is better than none at all.
